Definitely worth the price. You get TONS of flourishes and sleights. The teaching is decent, even though Brian's monotone voice can lull you to sleep at times.

Great dvd, if you can put up with the word "essentially" being spoken every 4 seconds.

Joking aside his delivery kills it for me. Not just monotone, but utterly desolately joyless in his delivery. This type of video should be something to get excited about, but he's so joyless in his 'bored to death' delivery that it killed my interest. He could narrate a Parkour video and make you want to switch off (and that would be a real feat of negativity).

I also wasn't happy with his style - too fast. Fast isn't clever. If there is beauty and grace in what you do, slow it back a bit to let it be seen and fully appreciated. This is personal. If you think the measure of a guitar solo is how fast it's played, then you might disagree with me.

this dvd was ok. I liked the material, but it just takes hella practice. He tends to rush a lot through the dvd. Like for example the explaination of WTH, castro cut, tudor shuffle and etc... so I give this a 4/5

It's interesting to see the difference in comments/ratings between this and other sites because the majority of people on this site are really good at flourishing. on other sites (penguinmagic) people hate this dvd. lol

I was just practicing the routines on this DVD and thought I'd come here and see what people think of it, I also went and looked at penguins website.

Yeah alot of diffrent reviews :) the teaching isn't all that bad, although it's slightly rushed. What makes me laugh is listening to Tudor, you can tell he's really bored, it's like he's making the DVD behind his will.

But apart from that, this DVD is really worth the price. 'The Man from New York' routine gets some huge reactions, its amazing.

I'll definetly buy anything else Brian Tudor releases in terms of magic

This was a pretty good DVD. The only problems I had with it are that he rushes through most of the moves, and he is so dull and boring, he is like the Ben Stein of cardistry. However, you do get a lot of material for the price. Overall I would recommend it to someone who knows a little bit about cardistry, not to the beginner. 4/5

It seems to me like you need to be a fairly experienced minipulator to appreciate this dvd... i havent bought it yet but i think i will buy the trilogy instead.

I watched 5 minutes of teaching on his "show off" routine. I was amazed by the routine, but then when he gave a far away, bad angle teaching, it sucked. He didn't go into detail at all. You could barely see what he was doing.

Is this dvd worth buying?
Are there hard-hitting moves?
Is there in-depth teaching.
Are the moves practticably?
or are there any other dvds, teaching the same (or more) in a better way?

An answer would be nice.
