I really don't think being friends with Richard should earn you spotlight places.
Lappings video impressed me more than this one and it earned no spotlight.
It kinda sucks if the spotlight is only there to appreciate people Richard likes.

Ceylon, the spotlight needed to be updated since it had been unchanged for a few months, I told Richard jokingly to add my video, and he did.

ceylon, Jonas pretty much nailed this one. I really liked Lapping's video too, and I don't know why it wasn't in the spotlight. I was out of the whole spotlight-updating thing.
When I updated the spotlight most recently, I simply added the most recent card videos I thought were cool. It doesn't have to do with who's on my IM.
I'll try to keep the spotlight updated more often! Two months with no change is just too long.

I suggest on monthly spot light updating.
It should be updated every month. Top vids of the month will be in the spot light.
As for Jonas's vid... its so different to his usual ones. Nice to see u standing up. U've done so many great vids... and this is just another addition to it. But its cool.. moves are v smooth and editing is great.

I know what your saying Rich, but I don't like the idea of the Porche Caymen theory. The Caymen was designed to slot between the Boxter and 911. So much that it has exactly the BHP half way between the other two, and same with Torque, price and top speed.
I wouldn't buy this car because it wasn't designed to be the best it can be.
And neither was this video. Jonas can do way better than this, but I have a feeling he is holding back.
And because it's not the best he can do, I don't agree with it being in the spotlight.

ceylon, i think the spotlight is mainly for vids that stand out as good to the general public, not good compared to what the person has done before. I mean, take for example a person that submits 5 vids of charlier cuts and thumb fans, then submits dan and dave material. should it then be in the spotlight, even if its sub-standard? I can see where you're coming from with the "he can do better," though
