Default Technical Difficulties

I always felt that the Collectors plot is just a normal sandwich plot with more cards, making it a little more impossible.

So... why not have a sandwich with a dash of Collectors in it?

I came up with the original (but very poor) handling a couple of years back, and called it Pyramiddle (I was in Egypt at that time). This idea stayed in a dark, damp corner of my mind until recently, when I sort of revamped it and made the handling something I am quite satisfied with.

This is not a very tried-and-tested piece (as some stuff are on this channel), but it's gotten positive feedback from those I performed for. However, I feel the handling can still be improved upon.

The presentation is of course about how the deck is fitted with new technology that "with a press of a button, it'll do tricks for me", only for it to break down and the magician having to program the deck manually with lots of buttons. (The Tens.) The production of the Tens has an APsquared feeling about it, which is nice.

Enjoy, with pineapple tarts.

I didn't have sound on so I cant grade the noises but... this trick wasn't very visual, there was tons of time spent doing strange false counts on the top of the deck and other unmotivated moves, and it took in general too long to hold my interest. I kept watching hoping something cool would happen though.

I had a similar opinion. It looked pretty obvious to me when you were shuffling the aces around, that they would sandwich a card *maybe just cause i do magic too*
I know its bull, but just for the sake of presentation, maybe you can indicate that something magical is about to happen?

I liked the cards in between thing... kinda like a trick I just learned recently, Joyride.

trashmanf:

I agree. In the description, I said I was "quite satisfied" with the handling, but that was about a month ago - now that I reviewed it, the handling still sucks.

I'll work on it, thanks.

That said, the effect is much better with patter. Maybe I should have included it.
